Does your child have a passion for music? Do they dream of performing on stage? Are they looking for friends who share their love for singing? If so, we have exciting news for you! The Young Singers of the Palm Beaches is holding auditions for their community children's choir, and this could be your child’s chance to shine!
Auditions are being held for their Kravis Center-based choir for grades 2-12 on Sunday, January 7, or Wednesday, January 10, 2024. For those who live in the southern areas of Palm Beach County YSPB has a South County Choir open to children in grades 3-5 which rehearses at the Boynton Beach Cultural Center. Auditions for that choir will be on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
Their experienced and supportive staff will be there to guide and encourage each participant throughout the audition process. Tell your child not to worry if they're feeling a little nervous – they create a safe and welcoming environment where every child can feel confident and valued. Once accepted into the choir, singers will embark on a musical journey filled with exciting opportunities. They will have the chance to perform in concerts and showcase their talents to a wider audience. Their performances are not only a chance to display hard work and dedication, but they also help to build self-confidence and stage presence.
Young Singers of the Palm Beaches’ mission has always been to teach life skills through music. They believe that music has the power to shape young minds and hearts, and they strive to create an atmosphere of artistic excellence where children can develop teamwork and leadership skills. Their choir members not only become better singers, but they also form supportive friendships and serve as ambassadors in their community.
Their community children's choir is a wonderful opportunity for young singers to build their talent and join a group of like-minded individuals who are passionate about music. Whether they are a beginner or have previous singing experience, they welcome all children who have a love for singing and a desire to learn and grow.
Young Singers of the Palm Beaches has been enriching the lives of children since 2003. Being a part of the Young Singers is about more than just singing. It's about forming lifelong friendships and learning and growing as an individual while being part of a supportive and nurturing community. Their choir members often describe the experience as a second family – a place where they can be themselves and feel accepted.
There is a tuition fee associated with joining the choir. Families that qualify may receive financial assistance as Young Singers is committed to reaching all children who want to sing, regardless of their ability to pay.
