Guidepost Montessori at Palm Beach Gardens is expanding its Cognia accredited Montessori programming to elementary, with a new classroom on track to open this February for students aged 6-9. The school’s long-term plans include a second elementary classroom for ages 9-12, too. The campus, which opened in June 2021, already serves more than 70 families with their early childhood programs.
Montessori Elementary veers from traditional methods of teaching by maintaining the evidence-based benefits of mixed-age learning, where children are grouped by stage of development and move up every three years. These mixed-age communities activate more collaborative, social learning environments where academic rigor is balanced with foundational social, emotional and life skills. Students in Montessori Elementary also experience greater autonomy and ownership of their learning, with a multi-hour uninterrupted work period that enables deeper engagement, understanding and retention of knowledge.
Guidepost Montessori at Palm Beach Gardens is enrolling now for their new elementary program, which will have the space to serve 25 new students upon opening next month. As an extension to their sought-after Spanish Immersion programming in the early childhood classrooms, elementary students will have continued exposure with additional Spanish lessons offered.
The Palm Beach Gardens school team is hosting their Winter Festival for current and interested families on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 10 AM to 1 PM right on campus, located at 353 Hiatt Drive, Palm Beach Gardens, FL. There, families can tour the new elementary classroom in the first hour from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Children can enjoy winter activities including snow catapults, an obstacle course, bungee, penguin gliders, snow/ice experiments, karaoke, and more.
At the event, you can also ask about their early childhood programming, which includes toddler care, preschool, and kindergarten. In Montessori, the Toddler community serves children between 16 months and 3. Preschool and kindergarten correspond to the Montessori Children’s House, designed for ages 3-6.

This campus is part of the international Guidepost Montessori network, which provides authentic, child-centered education for children ages 0-14. Beyond campus, families can access Montessori education from anywhere in the world through Guidepost’s at-home suite, which offers Virtual School and Homeschool support. Resources, trainings, and courses are also accessible for parents and educators in partnership with The Prepared Montessorian, a MACTE-accredited teacher training institute.
