30th Annual ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival

ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival, celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2015, is the premier fine art festival of the Palm Beaches.  Ranked as one of the top 50 art shows in the United States, ArtiGras showcases a unique juried exhibition of 300 fine artists from all over the country. The three-day event also features interactive art exhibits, live music, and demonstrations that provide an arts experience like no other in South Florida. ArtiGras has been selected as one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society. ArtiGras is produced by the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce and benefits over 60 school art programs and non-profit organizations.

  • Festival Hours: Saturday, Feb. 14: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 15: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Monday, Feb.16: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Location: Abacoa Town Center at Central Boulevard just north of Donald Ross Road in Jupiter, Fla.
Road Closure: 

Central Boulevard between Fredrick Small Circle and Main Street Circle; University Boulevard between Main Street and Central Boulevard; Wednesday February 11, 2015 at 6:00 a.m. to Tuesday February 17, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.

Admission: 

$8 - One-day Advance ticket, $12 Three-day Advance tickets, $10 per day - at the gate, children 12 and under free.Advance tickets can be purchased at the Maltz Jupiter Theater, Roger Dean Stadium, The Gardens Mall, the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce and online at www.artigras.org.

Free Parking:            

Parking is close, safe and easy. There are parking areas designated near Roger Dean Stadium, Scripps Florida Research Institute, FAU, Max Planck, Dwyer High School and Jupiter Middle School. Shuttle buses are available to bring attendees to the gates.
 
Attractions:
 
Adult DIY with Resource Depot: With assistance from Resource Depot, patrons this year will have the chance to create their own art from recycled materials. From wine glasses made from emptied wine bottles to jewelry from recycled materials, adults this year will find this new interactive component of ArtiGras fun and enjoyable.
 
ArtiKids Area: The ArtiKids area is a place where children will get their hands dirty and experience the art. Children can help build a sculpture or make a piece of art from recycled materials to take home.  It is a place where children can expand their mind and their art.
 
Artist Demonstration Stage: Various participating artists from around the country will demonstrate their art technique. Attendees are invited to watch and ask questions of our resident experts. Look for schedule of artists in the festival program.
 
Charitable Affiliations: Schools and local charities benefit from ArtiGras. The 2015 beneficiaries include the Kiwanis Club of Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens, Resource Depot, Quantum House, Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida, Clinics Can Help, Cros Ministries, Harris Foundation and 60 local and private schools.
  
Fine Arts Area: Showcases the talents of 300national, regional and local fine artists. The show is noted for strong art sales and is rated "one of the top 50 shows in the nation" by Sunshine Artist Magazine. All artists are required to be present during the show. This allows the guests to meet and get to know the artists. Artists compete for more than $17,000 in prize and purchase awards money in the areas of ceramics, digital art, drawing/graphics/print making, emerging artists, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture and wood.
 
Garden Art Area: Offers fine handmade craft items created with the backyard garden in mind. Patrons will find unique items to useful homes and garden accessories. The selection is varied including wood, glass, sculptures, fountains and furnishings.
 
Emerging Artists: This area of the festival will feature 12 fabulous artists from the Palm Beach area who are exhibiting in an outdoor art festival for the first time. These artists have been through a vigorous training program with ArtiGras event staff and other artist experts over the past six months.  Patrons will be able to enjoy and purchase art that has been created in their "own backyard."
 
Music at the Main Stage: Varied musical entertainment will be featured throughout the day including jazz, R&B, and island music. The stage will be located near the Food Court location at University and Central Blvd.

Tiny Treasures: Children ages 3 - 13 are invited to enter this exclusive "kids only" gallery where they can purchase artwork donated by the exhibiting artists. Children and their families can then visit and meet the artists on site. It is a perfect introduction to the arts for these future art patrons. All proceeds directly benefit the Quantum House.
 
Youth Art Competition: Local public and private schools, grades K-12, are invited to create art works and compete for money for their school's art department. Approximately one hundred finalists in this countywide competition will be on display at ArtiGras. The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday afternoon and the finalists will be on display the entire weekend. The talent of these young people will amaze you!
