Volunteers Needed for The 2017 ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival!

The 2017 ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival and the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center Art Fest by the Sea in Juno Beach are looking for volunteers to help make these Palm Beach County festivals the most memorable ones for both patrons and artists. Volunteer applications are being accepted online at pbnchamber.com.

"We can not stage these two world-class events without our volunteers," said said Beth Kigel, President and CEO of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce which produces both the ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival and Art Fest by the Sea in Juno Beach. "Volunteers ensure the needs of the guests and artists are being addressed, and help make these community events a success each year."

It takes more than 1,000 volunteers to help produce and organize ArtiGras and Art Fest by the Sea. Volunteers can choose from several shifts in the following areas: ArtiKids, Parking/Transportation, Artist Relations, Site Operations, Volunteer Headquarters, Youth Art Competition, Recycling, Information Booths and Merchandising.

Volunteers also receive great perks including a free T-shirt, free admission to the festival before or after their shift the day of volunteering, special parking and free food and beverages in the volunteer area. Students also receive community service credit for the hours they volunteer. All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.

The 32nd annual ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival, February 18-20, will showcase a juried exhibition of outstanding fine art and feature activities which include live entertainment, artist demonstrations, interactive art activities for all ages, a youth art competition and the opportunity to meet more than 300 of the top artists from around the world. Listed as one of the top 50 festivals in the country, ArtiGras 2017 expects tens of thousands of patrons over the three-day period.

The Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center Art Fest by the Sea in Juno Beach, March 11-12, 2017, has become a springtime tradition for residents and snowbirds alike. Since its inception, this esteemed community art festival continues to highlight the talents of more than 250 artists displaying a wide range of works from life-size sculptures, to photography and jewelry. There are all sorts of opportunities to appreciate art during this weekend of visual inspiration along the beach on A1A.
